Nicole Rubin, Chief Executive Officer
As the chief executive officer, Nicole Rubin oversees the operation of RMHCSC programs, including Ronald McDonald Houses in Loma Linda, Los Angeles, Orange and Pasadena, Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times in Idyllwild, a Community Grants Board and four scholarship programs. Nicole was most recently the executive director at the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in New York City where she led the development and implementation of plans to assure continued growth, visibility and advancement of breast cancer programs and services. Nicole has more than ten years of experience in health care, non-profit management and fund-raising. Prior to her work with the Komen Foundation, she worked for the Methodist Health Care System in Houston as the assistant vice president of Planning, Marketing and Corporate Communications. Nicole works to unite all RMHCSC programs in order to meet the organization’s ultimate goal of improving the health and well-being of children in Southern California.
Tom Offenbecher, Director of Human Resources
Tom Offenbecher joined the central office of RMHCSC as the director of human resources. Tom is a native of Ohio, and he attended the University of Toledo. He holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, and he has a SPHR designation. Tom’s career path includes 15 years of progressive human resources work experience in industries such as recruitment advertising, health care, research, entertainment as well as environmental and social service non-profits. He has specific expertise in labor and employee relations, compensation and benefits, strategic management and executive coaching. Tom is a member of the Society of Human Resources and PIHRA of Southern California.
Vincent Bryson, Executive Director, Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House
Vincent Bryson is the executive director of the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House. Prior to joining the Ronald McDonald House, he was director of premium seating for the Staples Center. Vince came to the Staples Center from the New Los Angeles Marketing Partnership, a public-private partnership created by Mayor Riordan. He served as the development director. Additionally, Vince served as president and chief executive officer of the Magic Johnson Foundation, Inc. During his tenure the foundation began its operation, raised $8 million and distributed more than $3.5 million to AIDS related organizations nationally. Vince also served fourteen years as development director of The College Fund/UNCF for Southern California, Nevada, Arizona, and Hawaii. When appointed, he was the youngest director ever assigned to lead an area office.
Brian Crater, Executive Director, Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times
Brian Crater is executive director for Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times and joined Camp in 1988. Brian oversees the Camp's operations. Brian likes to make sure each child and adult that visits camp has the opportunity to feel the magic and personal growth that a camp experience can provide. He also coordinates Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times' facility development project to build the best facilities to serve children. Brian is president of the American Camp Association Southern California/Hawaii, and past-president of Children's Oncology Camping Association-International. Additionally, Brian is a faculty lecturer at Recreation Department of California State University, Long Beach.
Dee Feldmeir, Executive Director, Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House
Dee Feldmeir is the executive director at the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House. She operates a twenty-one room House with an additional House located adjacent from the Loma Linda University Medical Center offering housing to families for long term stays. She is a native of Waco, Texas and grew up and attended school in San Bernardino. She Prior to joining the Ronald McDonald House, Dee worked for the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Association for twenty years. She resides in Yucaipa, and she is married with two children.
Carol Horvitz, Executive Director, Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times
Carol Horvitz is the executive director of Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times and joined Camp in 1994. She oversees the development of the Camp's organization. Carol’s background is in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. She is highly involved with the activities and programs at the Camp, including fund-raising and special events. Carol enjoys working for Camp because everyday is filled with new and exciting opportunities to forward the mission of providing a cost-free caring experience for every child with cancer and their family.
Deborah Levy, Executive Director, Orange County Ronald McDonald House
Deborah Levy is the executive director of the Orange County Ronald McDonald House. She served as the main anchor and investigative news reporter for the top all news channel in Las Vegas, and she was a fill-in anchor and reporter for its CBS sister station. Deborah helped launch the all-news station in Las Vegas, but decided to trade in her television news career to work at the Orange County Ronald McDonald House after years of serving as a volunteer with the organization. Deborah knows first-hand how valuable the support offered by the Ronald McDonald House can be, something that was missing when her own family faced her brother’s death alone in a strange city with no support systems. Deborah is a cum laude graduate of UCLA with a major in political science.
Marchelle Sellers, Executive Director, Pasadena Ronald McDonald House
Marchelle Sellers is the founder and executive director of the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House. She has an extensive background and over 10 years experience in non-profit management, property management, public speaking, grant writing, accounting/bookkeeping and fund-raising. Marchelle served as president of The Welcome Home, vice president and treasurer of the National Association of Hospital Hospitality Houses, was a commissioner for the City of Pasadena's Accessibility & Disability Commission for 6 years. She is a current member of the Rotary Club of South Pasadena. She attended the University of Southern California with a major in public policy and non-profit management, with a minor in sociology. Marchelle started her non-profit MBA program earlier this year. |
