The Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southern California (RMHCSC) will once again have a float in the 2009 Tournament of Roses parade. We are honored to be a part of this tradition and we invite you to share in our excitement by volunteering to decorate our 2009 “Time for a Family Gathering” themed float. Information and Requirements
We ask that our volunteers be at least 13 years of age and have adult supervision with them at all times, there are no exceptions. If groups are interested in volunteering, please specify the number of volunteers on the registration form. Once you have registered, you will receive an email confirmation and there is nothing further that needs to be done. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact Elizabeth Prater at eprater@rmhcsc.org or at 626 744-9449, ext. 1#.
When reporting for volunteer duty, please check in with the RMHCSC float manager and let them know you are volunteering for our float. Be sure to dress warmly and comfortably with closed toe shoes. RMHCSC will provide lunch on December 7, 13, 20, and 31, and both lunch and dinner on December 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30. Drinks will be available throughout the day during all of the dates. You may bring your own lunch but it must be kept in the car as no food is allowed in the decorating area and there are no storage areas. Parking is available on the street but it does get crowded so arrive early or carpool.
