The Orange County Ronald McDonald House® (OCRMH) is located only a few blocks from Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and other pediatric hospitals and medical facilities in Orange County. The three-story Ronald McDonald House offers pleasant, affordable lodging for up to 20 families with children undergoing treatment for cancer and other serious illnesses. Since opening its doors in 1989, the OCRMH has welcomed more than 8,000 families from over 22 countries.
The OCRMH features several communal areas for families including a living room, dining room, family room, sanctuary, kitchen, playground and library. The House is designed to accommodate guests’ special needs. Private suites on the second and third floors are fully furnished with a private bath and closet area. A suite with a private kitchen is also available for families whose children are at high risk of infection and cannot use the common facilities.
